Riding the Rails

Renald took a Saturday off and suprised the kids with going to the Ogden Train Station. We first ate breakfast at Golden Corral, then went to the train station in Ogden. Then we took the kids on the new UTA train that goes to SLC. We ate lunch at the Gateway Mall and took the kids to the Childrens Discovery Center there, then headed back home, but not without stopping at the Chocolate Factory! The kids had a wonderful time.

Sydneys Magic Trick

While I was cooking dinner, I looked over at Sydney and she had learned how to stick a spoon on her nose all by herself! She started laughing when I showed her a picture of how she looked!

Happy Halloween

This year I took Sydney and Tyson around our neighborhood. It took a few houses for Sydney and Tyson to say trick or treat when they opened the doors. On a few occasions they said Thank-you when they opened the door and Trick or Treat when they left. Renald took Austin and a few friends around to some other neighborhoods nearby. Then we ended up at our neighbors annual bbq. The kids had a great time. Austin was Indiana Jones, Tyson was Batman and Sydney was Pricess Leia.

Austin earns his Bobcat

On Wednesday October 29th, Austin earned his first award at scouts. He passed off his Bobcat and is now a Wolf, I think!! I'm still not quite sure how it works, but I am sure one day I'll figure it out. Way to go Austin!!

Make room for #4

We have decided to have one more baby. We are really excited about having another one, and so are our kids. Austin already has a boy and girl name picked out and Sydney is a baby magnent. Tyson just says the name will be baby Tyson. Our due date is May 10th! Now when you see me, you will understand why I look so fat!

Dinosaur Park

Since our family didn't go anywhere for UEA, I decided to take the kids to the Dinosaur Park. It has changed a lot since I had been there last, and so did the price! Sydney wouldn't let me put her down until we got to the playground. It was pretty intense for her. I would purposely put her down and walk away and she would run screaming bloody murder (I know I am soo mean). It took a while for Tyson to get the courage to touch some of them, and of course Austin wasn't scared a bit, so he says. I found out the Park did trick or treating 1 hour after they closed so we left to eat dinner with Renald and went back to the park to do the trick or treating. Tyson was crying most of the time because he didn't get to wear his costume (which is batman), and it didn't help that everywhere we looked there was a kid in a batman costume. They had nice spook alleys, and they had people in stations dressed up along the way. They also had a witch and Frankenstein walk around the park. We didn't stay very long, I was too nervous I was going to lose one of my kids. By the time we got home we were all exhausted!

Big Black Eye

Sydney is our little helper, whatever I am doing whether it be talking on the phone or folding clothes, she usually wants to do it too. I was packing up for our camping trip and was putting some firewood in our trailer, thus so was sydney. I went into the house to get something and I heard crying as soon as I walked into the house, I went back out and poor sydney had fallen off the trailer trying to walk up it with her hands full of firewood. She hit the corner of her eye on something, and she honestly looked like frankenstein with a knob on the side of her head. I took a picture after she had gotten over it. I also took a after picture of her.
