We celebrated his birthday on Saturday, with a bbq dinner and cake and ice cream. My family along with Ren's parents were all there. Friday and Saturday Weston had a fever but that didn't stop him from enjoy his presents and cake! After opening his presents, he stood up and took his first steps in front of everyone...It was wonderful! He now takes many steps at a time and has 8 teeth...This summer is going to be fun!

Sydney turns 4

Sydney turned 4 on Saturday the 24th. It was a perfect weekend. The Busks came up on Friday for Chelsea's graduation and stayed at our house and celebrated Sydney's big day. Sydney will and always be our special little girl. We are so blessed to have her!

Easter

Our Easter weekend was so much fun. Full of egg dying, egg hunts and a family trip to Salt Lake.

On Monday, we all drove down to Midvale with Renald and we dropped Renald off at work and I took the kids shopping with me. We went back to golden Corral at lunch and ate with Renald.
We then checked into the Hotel next to Golden Corral and hung out there until Renald got off of work. We spent 2 nights there then went to American Fork to stay with Misty and her family. We were only going to stay one night and ended up staying three. We swam and hit Hogle Zoo, poor Misty, but we had a terrific time.

Moab

On Thursday, we got Austin out of school at 1pm and started the drive to Moab. We ate at Wendy's in Price and was pretty much grossed out! We arrived around 7pm. We stayed at our Neighbor's Condo and it was super sweet. Friday Renald rented a jeep and we went on a couple rides in it. It was raining so we wern't able to go on the more difficult (suicidal) trails. Renald enjoyed the Jeep so much he rented it for Saturday and all the boys went out. Friday scared me so much, I had no need to join them on a ride called "Hell's revenge". Renald took some great video of the ride, its pretty incredible what you can do in a Jeep. Here is an obstacle people were going on, it was called the hot tubs.

While the boys went Jeeping on Saturday, Michelle and I rented bikes and a bike trailer for the girls. I wanted to pull the trailer because I had been eating so much darn food, I had to burn some extra calories. We went on a ride from the condo up a Mountain and up to Gemini. We thought the whole way back would be so fun going down hill but the darn wind was so strong we peddled the whole way back against the wind. I didn't think I was going to make it back. It took about 3 hours and Sydney and Bryndee did wonderful. Linda stayed behind and watched baby Weston. Linda realized shortly after we left that one of us forgot our water bottle she she rushed out and found us, luckly we hadn't gone off the trail yet. She saved my life! The boys got home shortly after we did so I put Sydney and Weston in the trailer and biked down with Austin and Tyson to return the bike.

Sunday we packed up and left to go on a hike before we headed home. We hiked to delicate arch, then got in the car and headed home. We got home in just over 5 hours. Renald upacked everything! My kids can't wait to go back

Rocket Derby!

The day after the Piano recital was the exciting Cub Scout Rocket Derby. Renald helped Austin make his but had to work that night. I was so worried we wouldn't wind the propeller right and it would snap. We ended up getting 2 good runs before it snapped. I can't believe I have 2 more boys to put through this....

Spring Recital

Austin had his 3rd recital of the year. He played a solo called New World Symphony Theme and a duet with his teacher called Brahm's lullaby. He catches on so quickly and piano comes so easy for him. He does such a good job. He loves it so much, he is trying out for Greenville Idol. Sorry my pics didn't turn out so well.

Busy busy

Its been a very busy new year. Austin and Tyson are still in swimming lessons. They have been in it since November. Austin just finished basketball, and Sydney had become our newest little skiier. She caught on so quickly. Tyson learned to ski without his edgy wedgies and started with poles. He keeps up so well. He can get on the lift all by himself and he loves to ski with Austin. Austin continuous to do very well in skiing. He can ski all day long and not get tired. He is amazing! Last weekend my sister Jenn came up with her girls and spent the weekend at our house. I think the cousins always have a great time. Weston is getting so big and fun. He new trick is to shake is head side to side when we say no no no.. He is beginning to know that word very well, so well he justs laughs when we say it..

Renalds family just came up last weekend for our annual ski trip. Every year Renald says this was the best ski trip yet! Every year just gets better and better. Ren's dad is such a trooper and skies with us. I am very amazed that a senior citizen can ski like a teenager! I am so thankful that my mother in law, Linda stays behind to babysit the little ones. I will make sure next year she will be able to come up to the lodge and watch her kids and grandkids ski together. She is so unselfish and always cancels her plans to help us. She always puts her needs on hold to help her whole family. I look up to her and hope each year I can change myself to be a little more like her. This year Colter was able to join the ski troop and he did such a wonderful job!! The annual ski trip means a lot Renald and I am so happy his family always makes it up so it can happen. a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhp9cDogMUczK5GfWG_gv4KjDZaS43YNlzxBaEk9dS9IYcmf2c47Z9ZoDXrLuiKryAl85mAM0cs-7_TAW1_Y-lyZdpLfo1Ziugy4UHPp-muadNt-aPz3pgaPrKInr1n0X9uSImRcdUoEt4c/s1600-h/pic4+133.jpg">
